World Cup listening

It's not long now! I am struggling to maintain a full-on schedule of World Cup preparation at the same time as 'real life', but I am keeping an eye on developing news stories - Capello shouts at photographers, Wayne Rooney sees an elephant - as well as working my way through the many podcasts I've subscribed to.

I've just enjoyed Jonathan Creek's Armchair World Cup, and am looking forward to the next one from Baddiel and Skinner.

Then there's the Danny Baker Show (always a delight), and a not bad one called It'll Go To Penalties.

I signed up for Gabby Logan's World Cup Guide weeks ago but she's not delivered anything yet which isn't so bad as I've still got the BBC's World Cup Daily to catch up with. That one's got the great Stuart Hall on it. (And Nicky Campbell.) I haven't signed up to the Guardian one yet, as that may be a step too far.

Also, after a bit of research, I see there's a Pop World Cup podcast from Freaky Trigger, which I have to investigate next.

After the podcasts, I really must get to grips with the many videos on here.
