England build-up in pub

A bit of WC atmosphere for you... Everyone was singing along to the DJ (Three Lions, World in Motion, Back Home, Three Lions, World in Motion, Back Home, repeat until sick), buying as many drinks as they could carry because getting to the bar was a victory in itself... standing room only. Generally a very uncivilised place to be, and this was Chiswick! I'm glad it wasn't five in the morning.

And then there was some football and then it ended and we were reaccquainted with a very special feeling that comes around once every four yars... World Cup disappointment.

I bet Fabio's mad. I am. I told him Robert Green was a disaster waiting to happen and he should pick Old Man Calamity James. But then again, it's just the start, we'll win the next two games and then go out to Serbia.
