Most comments are not favourable towards the loud horns that have accompanied each game for the full 90mins non-stop.
A popular joke is also being circulated, ahem: "What is the difference between [INSERT ANNOYING CELEBRITY] and a Vuvuzela? One emits an annoying whining sound, and the other is a plastic trumpet."
The vuvuzela has become a national obsession here. We can't get enough of talking about them - perhaps because the games have been a little underwhelming so far. It's very important that you have something to say about the vuvuzela (a word we can't enough of saying), whether or not you're even watching the games. In which case, I think anyone who's against them and wants them banned is a small-minded, miserable killjoy. To put it mildly. Turn them up!
